This is an MTH Tinplate Traditions reproduction of a Lionel 216 Standard gauge Hopper Car. Operating latch couplers on both ends. The hopper doors open and close by turning the wheel in the middle of the car! The car is bright green and black enamel with nickle trim.
This car was cataloged in 1996, was bought new, and has been used for display only. It has only been run for testing. All original packaging and documentation is included.

This is a very pretty car. All metal construction, with metal wheels and axles. Lionel style metal latch couplers.
